Why is the French slopestyle programs lagging behind places like America? According to freeskiers Lucas Hogland and Tom Lesuire it's because the country lacks big, well-equipped snow parks. Don't get it twisted, they love their home parks of Vars, Méribel, and Val Thorens, but it seems they aren't quite at up to the level of the American super parks. The food is better, though. Not that the boys are complaining. Watch them throw down some huge tricks in Val Thorens as they recoup after the Olympics and get back into the filming and competition circuit.
